Delta EATS

Delta EATS (Edible Agriculture Teaching Students) and Farm2School partners with area farmers and local schools to increase access to fresh produce while improving agricultural education among students and families. DHA provides opportunities like growing and harvesting produce and cooking in an outdoor kitchen to allow students to gain the knowledge and values necessary to make food choices that are healthy for them, their communities, and the environment. Trained EATS staff use best practices from model school gardening programs to offer small group learning environments and incorporate wider school curriculums such as science and mathematics.

How to Enroll:

Students can enroll in Delta EATS through participating schools in Leland and Hollandale.
