We’re excited about this incredible highlight of the early end of our Deer Creek Promise Community programs! Our programs that focus on the youngest learners help to improve kindergarten readiness and prepare students for a future of academic success. In fact, DCPC programs have contributed to the Leland School District ranking first in kindergarten readiness out of all school districts in Mississippi twice in the past five years. We’re incredibly proud of the work our DCPC staff and partner schools do to improve the lives of kids in our community.

Delta Health Alliance is an incredible organization that does life-changing work in communities that otherwise might not have opportunity for growth.
Creativity helps children to express how they may feel or view social concepts. Join us today for Work Together Wednesday during this Week of the Young Child and help your child develop math, science, and early literacy skills. Whether it’s building forts out of cardboard boxes or building Lego cities, children will learn the importance of team work and have fun.

We're celebrating Music Monday on the first day of Week of the Young Child! Language and early literacy skills are often developed when children sing, dance, and listen to music. Events at DHA's Resource and Referral Centers incorporate lots of opportunities for children to sing, dance, and listen to music to help encourage both their early literacy development and physical activity.
