Delta Health Alliance welcomes Stephanie Patton as Special Assistant to the CEO
Delta Health Alliance is pleased to announce that Stephanie Patton of Leland will join its team as special assistant to the chief executive officer. In her new position with Delta Health Alliance, Patton will work with non-profit organizations throughout the Delta to create more partnerships and to expand the reach of the Delta Health Alliance health care and education initiatives.
“We are excited to welcome Stephanie into the Delta Health Alliance family,” said CEO Karen Matthews, “Stephanie brings a wealth of experience to the job, both as the former editor and publisher of the Leland Progress and as an active member of a number of boards of area organizations and agencies. She is keenly aware of the health care needs of the Delta and is bringing to Delta Health Alliance a commitment to involve more people in our mission.”
Patton has served in leadership roles with the Mississippi Economic Council, Delta Council, Mississippi Press Association, Washington County Economic Alliance, Community Foundation of Washington County, Rotary Club of Leland, United Way of Washington County, and many others.
As Special Assistant to the CEO Matthews, Mrs. Patton will work collaboratively with Delta Health Alliance’s partners and leaders on a local, state and national level on education and quality health care for MS Delta families.
“I’m very excited about joining the team at Delta Health Alliance,” said Patton. “Their mission and successful track record to positively affect health and education in the Delta is crucial to improving the lives of those in our community as well as the economic growth of our region. I look forward to working with other organizations in the Delta who share a similar mission.”
