Why Give?

Delta Health Alliance raises money from private foundations, corporations and individuals because the demands we face in the Delta are greater than the money available from federal grants. In addition, federal grants come with many restrictions. For example, a nurse practioner in one of our clinics may need to provide a certain kind of drug to an indigent patient, the reimbursement for which is not allowed by the federal grant that supports the clinic. We thus rely on private donations to supplement the services we provide (e.g., transportation of patients, certain equipment purchases, staff support).

If you would like to designate your donation to a specific program, please indicate the name of the program in the notes section on the form to your right or in the memo section of your check.

Delta Health Alliance is a 501(c)(3) organization. All contributions are fully tax deductible. We raise funds through governmental and foundation grants and from private donations. We welcome contributions of any amount. Your gifts will be used to expand health care opportunities for Mississippians throughout the Delta region.
