Delta Abuse Response Team (DART)

The Delta Abuse Response Team (DART) program aims to address the critical needs of victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking in rural Mississippi Delta communities. This program binds together the collaborative efforts of several organizations, including DHA’s Leland Medical Clinic, Haven House Family Shelter, the Center for Violence Prevention, the Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Project, and the Social Services Collaborative. DART connects victims of interpersonal violence with access to social workers, offers evidence-based trainings to service providers, and connects victims with social services that meet their needs. Our teams help to ensure victims of interpersonal violence have access to counseling and therapeutic services, medical care, safe housing, and more.
