Delta Health Care Services

This Delta Home Visiting collaborative was established to bring needed services to underserved communities in the Mississippi Delta, particularly for pregnant women and children. The initiative increases access to and delivery of wraparound support services for expecting mothers and families in Sunflower County, including home visitation by trained professionals who help build basic caregiving skills and improve bonding experiences between parents and children. Home visitation also encourages healthy child development and fosters positive home environments. Participants are also connected to a certified lactation consultants, licensed doula, and community pantries.
