The Delta Safe Families Collaborative works to prevent accidental deaths resulting from unintentional injuries, particularly among infants, toddlers and young children. Safe Families staff does their work at the community level, providing child safety supplies such as car seats and smoke detectors to participants and holding educational seminars on smart safety practices. We serve expecting families and families with children ages 0-5 years old in rural, majority low-income counties in the Mississippi Delta.
