Do you need help finding funded childcare near you? Delta Health Alliance Head Start / Early Head Start is an exceptional early learning program right here in the Mississippi Delta! We provide full-day daycare and preschool programs to income-eligible children and families in Sunflower, Warren, and Leflore counties, with facilities located in Greenwood, Vicksburg, and Indianola. Our comprehensive childcare programs are designed to prepare local Delta children for school by fostering social and cognitive development skills. Through high-quality education, healthcare, nutrition, and essential social services, our full-day programs help local families ensure their children will be successful once they enter the classroom. Head Start also engages parents in their child’s daycare and preschool learning and supports parents in making their own progress toward educational, literacy, and employment goals.
