LEADS

DHA’s Leaderships, Education, Action, Development, and Sustainability (LEADS) Initiative takes a comprehensive pipeline approach to overcoming barriers to employment. By providing one-on-one career coaching, enrollment assistance, financial literacy courses, and other family support services, LEADS helps connect workers in the Delta to occupational training and employment opportunities in healthcare, education, food service, and manufacturing. LEADS prioritizes nontraditional participants, including single parents, underemployed individuals, people with disabilities, and high school seniors in service area public schools. This program partners with Holmes Community College, the Mississippi Delta Community College CAPPS Center and Career & Technical Center, S&S College of Hair, Burns Healthcare Institute, Heavenly Hands Institute, and Stewart Healthcare Training Academy.
