LEADS

DHA’s Leaderships, Education, Action, Development, and Sustainability (LEADS) Initiative takes a comprehensive pipeline approach to overcoming barriers to employment. By providing one-on-one career coaching, enrollment assistance, financial literacy courses, and other family support services, LEADS helps connect workers in the Delta to occupational training and employment opportunities in healthcare, education, food service, and manufacturing. LEADS prioritizes nontraditional participants including single parents, underemployed individuals, people with disabilities, and high school seniors in service area public schools. This program is in partnership with Hinds Community College, Holmes Community College, and Mississippi Delta Community College CAPPS Center.
