SPARK

Supporting Partnerships to Assure Ready Kids (SPARK) prepares children ages 4 and 5 in Leflore and Washington counties for academic success. Offered through DHA’s Deer Creek Promise Community Community and Leflore Promise Community, SPARK brings together parents, early education practitioners, and public schools to ensure children have supportive environments where they can thrive. Working individually and in small groups with children, SPARK advocates identify challenges children face while engaging parents and teachers to ensure they have the support and resources they need. Additionally, SPARK staff regularly visit students’ homes to provide parents with resources and guidance to help promote literacy and language skills in the home, introducing another layer of academic support for children.

If you think your child might qualify, reach out to us today! Parents receive incentives for their participation in the program.
