DHA applying for 21st Century Community Learning Centers program

Delta Health Alliance is applying to participate in the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) Program through grant awards issued by the Mississippi Department of Education. CCLC’s will provide summer and after-school enrichment activities for students and families in Sunflower County Consolidated School District and the surrounding DHA footprint, expanding academic and extracurricular learning opportunities in the Mississippi Delta.

We welcome community input on the project’s design and proposed services for youth development, academic growth, and family engagement in children’s education. Please contact Beth McCullers at bmccullers@deltahealthalliance.org to share your perspective on how CCLC’s can improve opportunities for Mississippi Delta students and families.
