Delta Health Alliance recently wrapped up another successful summer camp season. DHA and our community partners sponsored and operated 16 camps serving 880 young people this summer. Our students enjoyed a wide variety of subjects at camps, including literacy, arts, cooking, computer coding, and kindergarten readiness. Summer camps are critical to preventing summer learning loss and keeping participants involved in educational activities while not in school. C.A.T.C.H. P.E. Coordinator Carlisha Walker attended the Greenwood-Leflore Consolidated School District's Professional Development Day recently at Greenwood Middle School. Mr. Kash Aleem was invited to train all the P.E. Teachers in the district on the C.A.T.C.H. curriculum. Mr. Kash did an amazing job keeping all the teachers' focus and attention!
